Color Changing Resin: This cartridge contains a mixture of cation and anion resins that remove total dissolved solids (TDS) from the water. The anion resin has a pH indicator dye that changes color from blue to amber when the resin is exhausted making it easy to monitor the cartridge life.
Multiple Applications: This cartridge is ideal for aquariums as it produces pure deionized water that is essential for the health and beauty of your fish and plants. It can also be used for steam irons pilot testing mixed bed resins and other applications that require deionized water.
High Capacity and Quality: The cartridge has a total exchange capacity of 0.43 meq/ml and a resistivity greater than 10 M?. It has a particle size of 16 to 50 US Mesh (297 - 1190 m) and a weight of 1.55 lb. It is made of high-quality materials and meets or exceeds industry standards.
Easy Installation and Compatibility: The cartridge fits standard 2.5 x 10'' filter housings and comes with a flow restrictor to ensure optimal performance. It is also available as a kit with a housing and a mounting bracket for easy installation.
