Alfalfa hay is an integral part of your young small pets diet. It provides the necessary fiber to help prevent GI Stasis, wears down ever-growing teeth to protect against dental problems, and contains high levels of nutrients to keep your pet healthy and happy. Small Pet Selects Alfalfa Hay is a perfect choice for young, pregnant, nursing or older small pets.

It provides the extra protein, fiber and fat that they need for growing bones and muscle and to maintain weight. The high fiber also provides normal wear to healthy teeth with a fresh smell to keep them coming back for more. It makes a great choice for some aging pets who might need extra care or motivation at the hay box.

Our Alfalfa hay is grown in the US. Small Pet Select takes pride in being a member of the small pet community. We know and love our small friends and hand-pack boxes to make sure that your little buddies get exactly what they know and love. Because our boxed hay is carefully packed by hand, it maintains the integrity of the hay and leaf better than products compressed in plastic that are typically found in stores while minimizing dust that can bother people sensitive to grass allergens.

Rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas should be offered fresh hay daily. This is particularly important to keep it smelling fresh (and yummy!).Regular deliveries of premium boxed hay from Small Pet Select are a convenient way to keep pets happy and thriving.
