Timothy hay is an integral part of your small pets diet. It provides the necessary fiber to help prevent GI Stasis, wears down ever-growing teeth to protect against dental problems, and contains nutrients to keep your pet healthy and happy. Pets that thrive with Timothy hay include rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and even tortoises.

80% of your friends diet should be high-quality hay to promote dental and digestive health. With all of the benefits of fresh hay, it can be difficult when our small friends turn up their noses at standard cuts of hay. We sourced this less common blend of 3rd cut Timothy hay for a specialty blend with more leaf and less stem.

This super soft variety is not a given when growing hay and is more of a gift from nature. The soft, tasty nature of this variety is perfect for enticing picky eaters to enjoy the healthy benefits of hay without the stress. It is also a great option for caring for sick or aging rabbits or other pets.

Our Timothy hay is grown in the US. Small Pet Select takes pride in being a member of the small pet community. We know and love our small friends and hand-pack boxes to make sure that your little buddies get exactly what they know and love. Because our boxed hay is carefully packed by hand, it maintains the integrity of the hay and leaf better than products compressed in plastic that are typically found in stores while minimizing dust that can bother people who are sensitive to grass allergens.

Rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas should be offered fresh hay daily. This is particularly important to keep it smelling fresh (and yummy!).In addition to pets that require hay in their diet, others can benefit from Timothy hay to nest and play in, including hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, ferrets and more. Regular deliveries of premium boxed hay from Small Pet Select are a convenient way to keep pets happy and thriving.
