The Sera air-powered internal filter is an essential aquarium accessory designed to efficiently purify water while providing a safe environment for aquatic life. Ideal for breeding larvae and fry, this filter ensures that even the smallest inhabitants thrive without the risk of being sucked into standard filters.

This filter operates on the principle of the mammoth pump, utilizing an aerator to inject air into the riser pipe. This mechanism creates a water flow that draws aquarium water through a fine sponge, effectively removing impurities. The internal sponges are designed with optimal porosity to support the growth of nitrifying bacteria, which are crucial for breaking down harmful substances in the water. The filter is available in various models, catering to different tank sizes and requirements.
