Ruffwears Climate Changer Fleece Vest is a technical, breathable layer for cool-to-cold adventures. The streamlined vest silhouette frees up shoulders and hips, minimizing chafe and letting your dog move naturally-sprinting after a ball, hopping into the car, or winding along forest paths.

An active fit extends coverage over the hips and thighs to warm key muscle groups without adding bulk, making it an easy everyday pick for crisp mornings, blustery afternoons, and everything in between. The core fabric is a quick-drying, 100% recycled polyester fleece (260 g) finished to resist pilling so it stays soft wear after wear.

A smooth tricot lining at the collar feels gentle against fur. Side-release buckles make gearing up fast and simple, even with wiggly companions, and the back leash portal lets you clip to most harnesses without removing the vest. When the wind picks up, soft stretch leg loops help hold the hem in place and cut drafts.

Reflective trim adds visibility in low light, and a dedicated light loop accepts the Ruffwear Beacon for an extra pop of safety at dawn, dusk, or foggy trailheads. Wear Climate Changer on its own in dry, chilly weather, or layer it under a waterproof shell when conditions turn. Low-profile construction sits close to the body, so it layers cleanly without bunching and keeps your pup comfortable on neighborhood walks, travel days, backyard zoomies, and shoulder-season hikes alike.

The combination of breathable warmth, secure fit, and full mobility means dogs stay focused on the fun-not their gear. Built from recycled fleece with a pill-resistant finish, a soft tricot collar lining, and durable Waveloc side-release hardware for long-lasting performance. For care, close the buckles, machine-wash cold on gentle with mild detergent, and hang to dry; skip bleach, ironing, and dry cleaning.
