The Hay Chix 2-Strand Bale Net is the ultimate solution for waste-reducing feeding. Its perfect for small square bales and designed to hold 2-string bales weighing up to 70 lbs. This slow feed hay bag is crafted from durable, UV-treated marine-grade nylon with 1 1/4 holes. You can prepare these nets ahead of time, saving hours on your daily chores.

By slowing down consumption, it supports healthier digestion and helps prevent common equine issues like gastric ulcers, boredom, and unwanted behaviors such as pawing and weaving. Use it on the ground, in your pasture, in a stall, or throw it in a feeder to keep it off the ground.

This hay net with 1 1/4 holes, also, works well for very easy keepers to keep them busy without putting on too much weight. Safety Warning: We do not recommend use with horned animals, horses with blankets, or non-breakaway halters. Net may be used with shod horses and animals with split hooves but must be used with a hay ring that is flush with the ground or hung high enough so they cannot paw at it.

Net may be used with blankets as long as the buckles are covered or there is a barrier between the netted bale and the blanket.
