About this item

Introducing black soldier fly larvae, a nutritious and sustainable protein source for your backyard chickens. These larvae are packed with essential nutrients like calcium, amino acids, and lauric acid, promoting strong eggshells, healthy feathers, and overall vitality. Harvested at their optimal stage, these self-harvesting larvae are easy to feed and a natural choice for free-range or confined flocks.

Simply sprinkle them on the ground or in a feeder, and watch your chickens eagerly devour this tasty treat. With a high feed conversion ratio, black soldier fly larvae are an eco-friendly alternative to traditional feed, reducing waste and supporting a circular economy. Embrace a more sustainable approach to chicken keeping with this high-quality, low-impact protein source. Approximately 1 lb (0.45 kg) of larvae can supplement the diet of 10-15 chickens for one day.
