Brightwell Aquatics Caridina GH+ is a specialized remineralization solution that restores vital minerals to reverse osmosis, deionized, or extremely soft freshwater. Designed specifically for Caridina shrimp species and freshwater biotope aquariums, this formula replenishes calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium in optimal ratios to support osmoregulation, molting, nerve and muscle function, and plant nutrient uptake.

Ideal for aquariums using purified water or natural soft water sources, Caridina GH+ allows hobbyists to precisely control the general hardness (GH) and total dissolved solids (TDS) without altering KH or pH. This ensures that sensitive species such as Bee shrimp, and fish from tropical forest streams, thrive in stable, mineral-rich environments that mirror their native waters.

The product can be used for preparing new aquarium setups, rebalancing parameters after large water changes, or maintaining stability in low-mineral systems that rarely receive top-offs. Caridina GH+ does not include buffering compounds-so if KH is needed, pair it with Brightwells Florin Delta KH+ or use NeoTiger KH+/GH+ instead.

Formulated using extensive research on the chemistry of tropical forest river systems, Caridina GH+ helps hobbyists maintain long-term aquatic health and supports both livestock vitality and aquatic plant performance.
